Booking Policy

A 24-hour notice is required prior to cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in a 50% cancellation fee. A no-call, no-show will automatically be charged 100% of the cost of the service.

Payments:

Cash (no cash is kept in the studio), Venmo, Square, Zelle, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are all accepted forms of payment.

Late Arrivals:

Please allow time for parking. There is free salon parking at the Canal Station garage located next to Salon Republic on Leary Ave NW. The garage closes at 8pm.

A 15-minute grace period will be given, and after this your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

All services are non-refundable. Anna Lucille Beauty will not issue credits or exchanges for completed treatments.

Before Your Appointment:

  • Arrive on time

  • Please come makeup-free

  • Cancel if feeling sick or if you have a cold sore

  • Gratuity appreciated

  • Please no extra guests in the studio unless prior authorization

  • Come ready to relax

Before Your Facial Appointment: Avoid retinol/exfoliants for 2–3 days and arrive with clean skin if possible.

After Your Facial Appointment: Avoid heat, workouts, and active products for 24–48 hours. Hydrate and wear SPF.

Before Your Wax Appointment: Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice). • Avoid retinol, tretinoin, or strong exfoliants on the area for 5–7 days prior to your appointment. • Do not wax if you are using Accutane or similar medications. • Gently exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment for best results. • Avoid sunburned, irritated, or broken skin in the treatment area. • For Brazilian waxing, wearing loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.

After Your Wax Appointment: Avoid heat, sweating, and exercise for 24 hours • No hot baths, saunas, or tanning for 24 hours • Wear loose clothing to prevent irritation • Avoid exfoliation or active skincare for 48 hours • Keep the area clean and moisturized • Begin gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days to help prevent ingrown hairs. Skin may appear slightly pink after waxing—this is normal and usually fades within a few hours.

Before Your Chemical Peel: Avoid retinol, exfoliants, and waxing for 3–5 days before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin if possible.

After Your Chemical Peel: Avoid heat, workouts, and active products for 2–3 days. Keep skin hydrated and wear SPF daily and stay out of the direct sun for 5-7 days. Do not pick or peel the skin.
